Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Service Representative to support agents and the General Office in Charleston. You will oversee contracting to onboard new agents and ensure a smooth onboarding process for candidates, enabling them to start selling insurance products.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data accuracy, and coordination across teams, with a 4/1 hybrid schedule (four days in office, one remote). FINRA fingerprinting may be required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or office administration.
• Clear, professional communication (phone and email) and strong stakeholder service.
• Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in contracting system to advance contracts.
• Track background checks and fingerprint results; follow up with Partners.
• Review onboarding paperwork for completeness; resolve gaps.
• Communicate with Partners to provide status updates and answer questions.
• Process forms to ensure agents are integrated in systems correctly.
• Assist with in-person administrative duties for Managing Partner.
