Job summary

Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) in Portland, OR seeks an Adult Workforce Assistant Manager to lead 4-6 Career Coaches and 2-3 Program Coordinators. This role oversees program operations, budgeting, reporting, and staff development within IRCO’s Workforce Development sector.

You will ensure quality service delivery, data accuracy, and compliance with funders while collaborating with WorkSource partners and the Sector Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-4 years prior program or project coordination in Workforce Development or Employment Services, or related field.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Workforce Development and the Public Workforce System including WorkSource Services.
• Strong computer skills, Excel and related software applications.
• Experience in budgeting, expense tracking highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 4-6 Career Coaches and 2-3 Program Coordinators.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure program quality and compliance.
• Manage multi-fund budgets and funder reporting.
• Coordinate with WorkSource partners and funders as needed.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing professional development for staff.
• Ensure timely data entry of training, credentials, and employment outcomes.
