Job summary

Commonpoint is seeking a Full-Time Education Coordinator to support adult workforce development across Bronx and Queens locations. The role focuses on coordinating DSP-related training and general career readiness activities, including curriculum adaptation and participant engagement.

You will facilitate hybrid training sessions, monitor progress, and provide coaching to diverse adults to prepare them for employment opportunities within the program’s pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience teaching or instructing adult learners, particularly in Direct Support Professional training or workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate workforce development activities in hybrid (virtual and in-person) settings to prepare adult job seekers for employment success.
• Monitor participant attendance, engagement, participation and outcomes while maintaining accurate program documentation and case notes.
• Support participant recruitment, onboarding, retention and successful program completion.
• Contribute to strong participant retention and completion outcomes aligned with workforce development goals.
• Travel between Bronx and Queens locations based on program and operational needs.
