Job summary

Commonpoint seeks a Full-Time Education Coach in the Adult Workforce Department to coordinate workforce development programs for adult job seekers, focusing on DSP-related training and general career readiness initiatives.

The role will be split between our Bronx and Queens locations, delivering hybrid (in-person and virtual) training with occasional evenings or Saturdays, reporting to the Program Director and driving participant engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience teaching or instructing adult learners
• Experience with Direct Support Professional (DSP) training or workforce development
• Ability to develop and adapt curricula for diverse learners, including neurodivergent individuals

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate workforce development activities in hybrid settings (virtual and in-person)
• Monitor attendance, engagement, and outcomes with accurate documentation
• Support participant recruitment, onboarding, retention, and successful completion of programs
