Job summary

Edconic is seeking an Admissions Officer, Degree Programs to support graduate programs at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York and online. You will guide applicants from inquiry to enrollment and enhance the student journey with a proactive, data-driven approach.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years on a college campus, strong communication, and collaboration skills, with willingness to travel in the tri-state area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2-3 years of prior work on a college campus
• Exceptional written, oral, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external contacts
• Experience with automated database systems, including a CRM (Salesforce, preferable) and Student Information System is a plus
• Be willing to travel in the tri-state area to participate in recruitment efforts as required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students via multiple channels
• Process and conduct first review of applications with focus on New York and Online degree applicants
• Support planning and delivery of on- and off-campus recruitment events
• Provide regular analysis and reports to the Associate Director and Global Head of Admissions
• Maintain accurate prospect and applicant records in CRM and admissions databases
• Assist in the scholarship process for New York and online applicants
• Cultivate relationships with Institute faculty, staff, guidance counselors, and stakeholders
• Serve as a liaison for students with campus offices including student services and registrar
