Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an ADAS Virtual Validation Engineer to help build virtualized ECUs and ADAS simulations in a hybrid Dearborn, MI role. You will validate tools, integrate software into full-vehicle simulations, and support HiL/MiL testing across teams.

The position requires a strong background in C++ development, ADAS analytics, and sensor fusion, with experience in virtual environments and AUTOSAR integration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE with 6+ years post-baccalaureate experience.
• 4+ years in C++ software development and ADAS-related work.
• Experience with ADAS simulation, autonomy enablers, and data acquisition from vehicle networks.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop tools to emulate and virtualize automotive ECUs for ADAS sensor processing.
• Develop and execute virtualization tool validation methodologies using vehicle test data.
• Integrate ADAS software virtualization into full-vehicle simulations and assist feature developers.
• Support MiL/SiL/HiL software verification and transition of physical testing to simulation-based methods.
