Job summary

The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and grow existing accounts across Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro. You will prospect, present integrated advertising and marketing solutions across multiple media platforms, and build a robust sales pipeline.

You will develop client strategies, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver measurable ROAS while delivering outstanding service and growth for our customers in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of sales or account management experience.
• College degree or equivalent sales experience required.
• Strategic hunter mindset with prospecting skills.
• Understanding of the sales process for each stage.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new business opportunities through strategic sales outreach and relationship building.
• Sell integrated advertising and marketing solutions across multiple media platforms.
• Identify client challenges and provide customized marketing and advertising recommendations.
• Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
• Develop strong client relationships through both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Deliver professional sales presentations and proposals both remotely and in person.
