American Modern, a subsidiary of Munich Re, invites you to join its 2027 Actuarial Internship in Amelia, Ohio. Work alongside actuarial analysts on real datasets, participate in indications, and gain hands-on experience during a 40-hour workweek in a hybrid setting.

You are a rising junior or senior pursuing Actuarial Science or Math, must have passed one actuarial exam, and be prepared to commit to full-time duties.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Actuarial Science, Math, or related field; must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Rising Junior or Senior; available to work full-time 40 hours per week during summer.
• Hybrid work availability; able to commute to Amelia, Ohio; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare data for actuarial analysis.
• Support standard actuarial analyses and indications.
• Complete Excel-based analytical work; apply coding where helpful.
