Job summary

Aon in Chicago, IL, is seeking an ACTUARIAL PROJECT MANAGER to lead end-to-end actuarial process modernization initiatives. This hybrid role offers collaboration with Actuarial, Data/Analytics, and Technology teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage scope and risks, and drive change management. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of PM experience, plus Azure and Databricks expertise, are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing projects or programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Azure cloud capabilities and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of actuarial process modernization projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate work across Actuarial, Data/Analytics, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Facilitate requirements gathering with Actuarial SMEs; translate business needs into clear, actionable plans.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams using Databricks to meet business and technical requirements.
• Manage project governance, status reporting, and communication to multiple levels of collaborators.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Inspire change management activities, including collaborator engagement and training coordination.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance expectations.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to guidelines for future initiatives.
