Job summary

Aon Reinsurance is seeking an Actuarial Project Manager to lead the RAPID program, ensuring flawless execution of actuarial modernization initiatives. This hybrid role can be performed virtually and from our Bloomington, MN or Chicago, IL offices.

You will drive end-to-end project delivery, coordinate across actuarial, data, technology, and operations teams, and engage stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable plans. Strong PM, Azure, and Databricks experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing projects or programs in data/analytics or tech-change.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of actuarial process modernization projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate work across Actuarial, Data/Analytics, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Facilitate requirements gathering with Actuarial SMEs; translate business needs into clear, actionable plans.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams using Databricks to meet business and technical requirements.
• Manage project governance, status reporting, and communication to multiple levels of collaborators.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Inspire change management activities, including collaborator engagement and training coordination.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance expectations.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to guidelines for future initiatives.
