Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst in a hybrid role spanning Columbus, IN and Greene, NY with typical first shift hours. You will own full-cycle AR, cash application, and month-end close tasks, resolving discrepancies and supporting internal/external customers to ensure accurate transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related field; or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• General ledger activity and month-end processes experience.
• Ability to research and resolve complex, deadline-driven account issues.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handling high volumes of financial data.

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts and ensure accurate processing.
• Process deposits and coordinate with banks when needed.
• Research discrepancies and resolve account issues with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements; follow up on past-due accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies (customer, intercompany, Trade AR).
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close and AR activities.
• Confirm cash receipts are posted and reconciled for month-end.
• Prepare invoices for dealers and customers as needed.
• Analyze customer accounts to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Maintain customer account info and support annual credit reviews.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
