Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Bayport, MN team. The role focuses on processing payments, reconciling invoices, and delivering responsive customer service around payments.

You will work in a hybrid environment with ERP systems, perform discrepancy research, and generate reports. Ideal candidate has 1+ year AP experience, basic Excel, and strong data-entry skills suitable for a high-volume workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in invoice processing and accounts payable.
• Minimum 1 year in accounts payable (2+ years preferred).
• Basic Excel skills and pivot table familiarity.
• Thrives in a high-volume environment.
• Strong 10-key data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate payments through multiple ERP systems.
• Provide customer service related to payment of invoices.
• Reconcile invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Research and review invoice discrepancies.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Generate discrepancy reports.
• Conduct lost discount research and reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
