Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee daily AP operations, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate supplier records. The role partners with the Finance team to drive month-end close and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with NetSuite and Excel, in a hybrid work model based in Somerville, MA or Eaxton, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years accounts payable experience.
• Knowledge of AP processes, controls, and regulatory requirements; Sunshine Act a plus.
• Proven ability to improve processes and implement best practices.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations and ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
• Maintain accurate financial and supplier records.
• Coordinate month-end close for AP and prepare reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce AP policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies; respond to internal/external requests.
• Track AP metrics to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
