Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced accountant to support WaveMark operations in a hybrid role based in the Greater Columbus area. The position involves documenting current postings, improving controls, and aligning policies with GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and lease accounting.

You will partner with Finance, Sales and Operations, enhance subledger processes, and oversee month-end close activities with outsourced staff. Salary range is competitive with the market.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and ASC 606 preferred.
• ERP experience, SAP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the WaveMark business and accounting processes.
• Document current state accounting processes and financial postings.
• Identify process improvements and control opportunities.
• Develop and enhance accounting policies aligned with GAAP.
• Review contracts to determine accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales and Operations on contracting and invoicing.
• Create subledger schedules for deferred revenue and unbilled revenue.
• Improve balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Supervise outsourced accounting personnel.
