Job summary

Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee WaveMark accounting activities in a hybrid schedule, with one in-office day per week.

The role supports month-end close, ensures GAAP compliance, reviews contracts for proper accounting treatment, and partners with Finance, Sales and Operations to optimize revenue, costs and reporting. Ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience and SAP ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• SAP ERP experience preferred.
• ASC 606 accounting standard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document current state accounting processes including financial postings.
• Identify process improvements and control opportunities within documented processes.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies aligned with GAAP.
• Review contracts/amendments to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to understand contracting, invoicing, and inventory processes.
• Create improved subledger schedules/tracking for deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and deferred contract costs.
• Review and improve balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Supervise outsourced accounting personnel.
