Job summary

Goal Investment Group Inc in San Diego, CA is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Specialist for a hybrid role. The position supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, and benefits billing reconciliation in a collaborative Finance team.

You will process full-cycle AP, manage vendor setup and 1099 tracking, handle payroll for about 75 staff via Paylocity, and assist with month-end close. Strong detail orientation and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounting operations.
• Experience with payroll processing and handling confidential information.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable with proper documentation and approvals.
• Process invoices and ensure timely posting of customer payments in NetSuite.
• Audit and process employee expenses and reimbursements timely.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve account discrepancies.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for ~75 employees using Paylocity and ensure accuracy.
