Technology Company in the Greater Philadelphia Area is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead AP, close, and financial reporting within a fast-paced tech environment. This hands-on leadership role requires strong NetSuite proficiency and a track record of improving controls and processes.

You will oversee month-end close, cash management, reconciliations, and KPI reporting while partnering with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong Accounts Payable management experience.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is required.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes within NetSuite.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in IT/tech or managed services is preferred.
• Autotask (Datto) experience is a major plus.
• Experience supporting multi-entity organizations.
• Experience managing external audits and banking relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP function including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor cash requirements and payment schedules to optimize cash flow.
• Review and improve AP processes, controls, and efficiencies.
• Manage vendor onboarding and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, and billing oversight.
• Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support ERP improvements and financial system implementations.
• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
