Zusammenfassung

Wella International is seeking an Accounting Manager for North America in a hybrid role based in California. You will oversee month-end close, balance sheet reviews, and internal controls while coordinating with Shared Service Centers to drive accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA (or progress), 5+ years of accounting experience in consumer products or distribution, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent collaboration across Finance, Operations, HR and IT.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close.
• Experience with audits and internal controls.
• Excel and ERP systems expertise.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support internal controls, policies, and compliance.
• Reconcile trade spend, accruals, reserves, and provisions.
• Partner with Shared Service Centers to resolve issues.
• Manage external and internal audit activities.
• Drive process improvements across accounting operations.
• Mentor accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Support finance, operations, HR, IT and other stakeholders.
