Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Accounting Specialist to join the CCS division. The role focuses on month-end close, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and regulatory reporting within a hybrid work setting (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with US GAAP and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years of advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support month end close and reporting processes for accurate financial reporting.
• Complete timely account reconciliations per Carrier standards.
• Review AR and reserve calculations for bad debt and discounts.
• Handle Sales Incentive accounting including accruals and payouts.
• Manage reserves (Warranty, EAC loss) and revenue reversal analyses.
• Oversee project accounting and revenue recognition.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and SOX compliance.
