Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Managed Services Accounting team in Chicago. The role features a hybrid schedule (2 days in office) and requires strong Excel skills, experience with Sage Intacct and SAP Concur, and a track record of accurate, timely financial close.

Key duties include supervising expense processes, payroll entries, intercompany billbacks, and vendor billing, with an emphasis on improving workflows and internal controls within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and SAP Concur preferred.
• High integrity and attention to detail; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees expenses, corporate card transactions, payroll entries, intercompany billbacks, vendor billing, travel billing, and badging expenses.
• Performs period-end close responsibilities and meets deadlines.
• Reconciles transactions and prepares journal entries; supports travel and expense inquiries.
• Reviews payroll expenses and intercompany billbacks.
• Leads process improvement initiatives within the Accounting team.
