Job summary

The University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy seeks an Academic Programs and Operations Coordinator to lead the two master programs (MDP and MPA) and manage the full student lifecycle from enrollment through scheduling and logistics.

You will coordinate course scheduling, field trips, budget tracking, and HR processes, ensuring a high-quality experience for students, faculty, and external partners. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of university rules, budget, accounting, fund management, and personnel management.
• Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of event planning, risk management, contracts and grants regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic and curricular operations for two programs (MDP & MPA), including scheduling, enrollment, and course proposals.
• Manage global programs and strategic initiatives, including international travel logistics and grant compliance.
• Lead student affairs operations, enrollment management, and visa/ASE administration.
• Provide organizational leadership and supervision of staff, meetings, and major campus events.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor contracts, and payroll-related processes for program personnel.
