Georgetown University’s Berkley School of Nursing seeks an Academic Advisor to provide comprehensive advising to a diverse undergraduate and graduate population. Grounded in Jesuit tradition, the Advisor supports students’ academic, personal, and professional goals and interfaces with the Registrar and other educational partners to guide curriculum planning and policy navigation.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in a higher education setting.
• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience supervising diverse teams preferred.
• Familiarity with Banner, Cognos, and Salesforce CRM.
• Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, student-centered academic advising for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Guide curriculum planning and navigate academic policies.
• Collaborate with faculty, deans, and campus partners to support student success.
• Support study abroad, internships, and graduate school admissions.
• Interface with Registrar and graduate studies offices.
