Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager in the Buildings + Places practice to support active and future projects from a hybrid SF/Oakland, CA office. You will work with interdisciplinary leads to coordinate design and construction, focusing on achieving client objectives and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering from an accredited university with +2 years of relevant experience in the A/E field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Preferred: 6+ years of related experience in the A/E consulting industry, with experience managing clients or projects
• Licensed PE preferred for project leadership and compliance

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of contact with a client
• Preparing scope and fee proposals for multi-discipline projects
• Directing professional and technical staff to complete architectural and engineering projects
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for project execution
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Maintaining project documentation controls
• Preparing and facilitating project meetings and minutes
• Tracking and managing finances on projects
• Leading projects through full lifecycle from identification to closeout
