Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• 15+ years of relevant technical experience in systems/test engineering, integration, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience designing, building, and integrating HWIL/SWIL environments and test infra.
• Experience with modular, reusable designs and a common core configuration.
• Experience with BOMs, drawings, and configuration baselines.
• Familiarity with safety-critical standards such as DO-178C.
• Experience applying MOSA and modular open systems.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and design authority for HWIL/SWIL environments from concept to sustainment.
• Architect a modular test environment with a common core configuration across sites.
• Translate BOMs into documented designs with drawings and interfaces.
• Establish standardization: reusable blocks, interfaces, naming conventions, and procedures.
• Apply MOSA to maximize reuse, interoperability, and upgradability.
• Ensure safety-critical system considerations and DO-178C compliance.
• Develop and maintain architecture docs, interface control docs, wiring drawings, baselines.
• Plan and lead integration and checkout activities across sites.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, and test teams and interface with leadership and customers.
• Contribute to proposals, technical planning, cost/schedule estimates, and standards.
