Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a hardware/software-in-the-loop integration lead to architect and stand up modular HWIL/SWIL environments for guided munitions. You will design a common core configuration, coordinate across sites, and ensure safety and software-standards compliance.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience accepted.
15+ years of technical experience in systems/test engineering, integration, or related discipline.
Experience designing, building, and integrating HWIL and/or SWIL test environments.
Experience developing modular, reusable designs with a common core configuration.
Familiarity with DO-178C and safety-critical software assurance concepts.
Experience with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Approach).
Strong leadership and communication skills, able to guide a technical team.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead and design authority for HWIL/SWIL environments from concept to sustainment.
Architect modular test environments with a common core configuration across sites.
Translate BOMs into documented designs with drawings and baselines.
Establish standardization and reusable building blocks for labs.
Lead integration and checkout activities and define networking between core configurations and assets.
Collaborate across software, hardware, systems, cybersecurity, and test teams.
Contribute to proposals, planning, and standards development.
