Job summary

KODA Technologies in Huntsville, AL, seeks an HWIL Simulation Software Engineer to join our Flight Software / GNC / Modeling and Simulation Integration team. Onsite work in a classified area is required, with Active DoW Secret Clearance.

You will support integration and test of FSW, GNC, and simulation products in a HWIL setup. You will maintain and extend simulation software, integrate subsystem models into vehicle-level simulations, and develop end-to-end test scripts to drive HWIL

Qualifications

• Post-secondary STEM degree required (5–10+ years of relevant experience).
• Experience with Linux, C++, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Experience integrating and testing hardware/software products or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software configuration or baseline issues during integration and installation phases.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop HWIL simulation software.
• Integrate, verify, and validate subsystem models into vehicle-level simulations.
• Develop and integrate end-to-end test scripts for HWIL requirements verification & validation.
• Collaborate with Navigation, Guidance & Control, Flight Software, and HWIL teams to ensure integration standards.
