Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level HWIL Developer to support key programs at NSWC Crane. This on-site role requires recent experience in HWIL/LVC simulations and a Secret/TS/SCI clearance.Responsibilities include interpreting warfare system attributes, programming HWIL environments, and ensuring realistic simulation results.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years engineering or scientific research experience.
• 1+ years in a T&E or M&S role.
• 1+ years in a secure integrated data environment.
• ABET-accredited engineering program, or computer science, or mathematics degree.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret warfare system operating modes and performance characteristics.
• Interpret system technical documentation and extract key attributes to be simulated.
• Program and setup HWIL simulation environments.
• Integrate HWIL elements with digital models to predict warfare system performance.
• Generate design documentation and maintain version control.
• Validate that HWIL simulations produce realistic results.
