Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc in Alamo, Tennessee, is seeking a Production & Skilled Trades professional to inspect molds, perform preventive maintenance, and support the molding production line to meet schedules.

You will replace worn parts, manage inventory of fittings, document maintenance, and uphold safety and 5S standards while collaborating with Engineering to improve mold performance.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect molds for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Clean and lubricate molds; ensure molds, fixtures, and tooling are maintained in a production-ready condition to meet scheduled production
  • Replace worn or broken parts and perform repairs to molds and related equipment
  • Manage inventory of connection fittings to adequately prepare molding sections for processing
  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on molds; document maintenance activities as required
  • Troubleshoot molds and support production to minimize downtime and scrap
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize mold performance; With support from Engineering, adjust mold building techniques and process to support quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures and ensure work meets required safety standards
  • Follow and participate in 5S activities to sustain a safe, visual, and efficient workspace.
