Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in Alamo, Tennessee, is seeking a HVDC Epoxy Casting Technician to inspect epoxy casting components, maintain molding vessels, and train new employees while ensuring safety and quality in a production environment.

You will work with site Engineering and Process Owners to document conditions, support maintenance activities, and optimize mold performance to meet scheduling and throughput targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in epoxy casting operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assembled epoxy casting components for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Clean and lubricate molding vessels; maintain molds, fixtures and tooling in production-ready condition.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in epoxy casting to train new employees and support process owners.
• Collaborate with engineers to document process conditions and ensure control during casting.
• Assist maintenance with routine and preventative maintenance of epoxy casting equipment and document activities.
• Troubleshoot molding issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Monitor mold performance and adjust settings to optimize quality and throughput.
• Follow safety rules and participate in 5S for a safe, organized workspace.
