Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, undercounter coolers, prep tables, display cases, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repair recommendations, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Maintain EPA compliance and adhere to safety regulations.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
