AIS Commercial Parts & Service – A Tech24 Company is seeking an HVACR technician for our Altoona, PA area service team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to keep customer operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related experience, EPA certification, and strong diagnostic skills. On-site work includes field service, safety compliance, and ongoing training opportunities with company support.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration service.
EPA Certification required.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, airflow systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
Excellent communication and customer service.
Own industry standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, rooftops, reach-ins, ice machines).
Perform preventative maintenance to optimize performance and longevity.
Install, replace, and commission HVAC/refrigeration systems as needed.
Document service calls, parts, labor hours, and customer interactions in the system.
