Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an experienced HVACR Technician (PMT-II) to operate, monitor, service and repair HVACR systems across campus facilities in Aurora, CO. You will respond to emergencies and help ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Minimum qualifications include three years of HVACR experience, EPA Universal Certification (or agreement to obtain within six months), and a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the HVACR industries.
• EPA Universal Certification required or obtain within 6 months.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid State of Colorado Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service refrigeration systems and HVAC controls.
• Repair and install HVACR equipment including chillers and walk-in freezers.
• Operate vehicles, document maintenance data, and recover refrigerants per EPA rules.
• Provide training and assist in emergencies and campus events.
