Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is hiring a skilled HVACR technician to service commercial rooftop units, water-source heat pumps, and other packaged systems in the greater Toledo area. You will lead startups, perform diagnostics, and execute efficient repairs with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, EPA Universal certification, and OSHA 10, with OSHA 30 preferred and Master HVAC-R as a plus. A clean driving record and willingness to travel complete the profile.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including water-source heat pumps and rooftop units.
• Proven start-up/commissioning capability.
• Experience mentoring others on-site.
• EPA Universal certification and OSHA 10 are required; OSHA 30 preferred; Master HVAC-R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commission and start up rooftop packaged units and water-source heat pumps.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize commercial HVAC systems for reliability and efficiency.
• Document work thoroughly and keep customers informed; provide clear communication to team.
• Mentor teammates on-site and share best practices to improve service quality.
