Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks an HVAC Service Technician to perform startup and service of equipment for various HVAC applications in the Toledo, Ohio area. The candidate should troubleshoot and repair systems, be dependable, independent, and communicate well with clients and the team.

We value 5+ years of field experience, knowledge of commercial systems, startup experience, and EPA Universal certification. OSHA 10/30, clean driving record, and willingness to travel are important requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Own hand tools.
• Clean driving record.
• Master HVAC-R is a plus.
• Manufacturer certifications (Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster…) - preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Job Description

The Role

HVAC Service Technicians specialize in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVACsystems, be dependable, independent, and have communication and organizational skills. This role would serve our Toledo, Ohio area.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Must have knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• EPA Universal.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification and OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Master HVAC-Ris a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications(i.e. Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster…, etc. - preferred)
• Openness to travel when needed
• Self-starter, great communication skills, timely
