Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must possess a CFC license, universal preferred.
• HVACR technical degree or journeyman card; Master HVACR license preferred.
• At least three (3) years of HVACR experience.
• Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVACR systems and devices in working order across the school system.
• Install, repair equipment and systems and devices.
• Complete work orders, recording time and material used.
• Respond to emergency duty assignments and on-call needs.
• Train staff in HVACR trade and related maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVACR equipment including inspection and calibration.
