Job summary

Lincoln Tech in East Windsor, CT is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to mentor the next generation. You’ll lead live troubleshooting in a fully equipped lab and connect hands-on wins to the industry theory, all within a 4-day work week that gives you a three-day weekend.

Teach with industry-standard tools, evaluate student performance, and design engaging lessons that keep pace with evolving HVAC technologies while supporting career pathways and graduation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• S1 or S2 license—or eligibility and drive to obtain an S license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clear, confident communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to energize, engage, and motivate learners.
• True enthusiasm for teaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accredited HVAC instruction that blends theory with real shop scenarios.
• Lead practical labs using industry-standard equipment in a well-equipped facility.
• Design an inclusive, engaging learning space that fuels student growth.
• Evaluate student performance and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback.
• Create lesson plans aligned with current industry benchmarks.
• Keep pace with changing HVAC technologies and best practices.
• Partner with faculty to improve curriculum and overall program effectiveness.
• Coach students toward certification exams and rewarding HVAC careers.
