Job summary

Lincoln Tech – East Windsor is seeking an HVAC Technician with a passion for teaching to join our growing program. You will deliver accredited instruction in HVAC technologies, and run immersive, hands-on training in a fully equipped lab to help students develop real-world skills.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years as an HVAC technician, a valid S1/S2 license (or the ability to obtain one), and a talent for mentoring diverse learners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• S1 or S2 license — or ability to obtain an S license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communicators who connect with diverse learners.
• Natural motivators who keep students engaged and on track.
• Mentors at heart with a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accredited instruction in HVAC technologies (theory + application).
• Run immersive, hands-on training in a fully outfitted HVAC lab.
• Create a dynamic learning environment where students stay engaged and grow.
• Assess progress and give clear, actionable feedback.
• Design lesson plans aligned with current industry standards.
• Keep knowledge sharp on emerging HVAC/R practices and tech.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to elevate program outcomes.
• Coach students toward certifications and successful entry into the field.
