ConServ Building Services is urgently hiring HVACR Commercial Lead Installers in the Orlando, FL area. The role focuses on reading drawings, estimating, duct layout, and installation of sheet metal and related equipment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HVAC trade
• EPA certification required
• Refrigeration knowledge
• OSHA safety regulations knowledge
• Independent work ability
• Criminal background check and on-site drug test
• Clean driving record and valid license

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes and equipment submittals
• Estimate job pricing, material takeoffs, and ordering
• Layout duct work and coordinate with other trades
• Install sheet metal, fibrous board, and flex duct, dampers and air devices
• Measure and draw up sheet metal duct fittings
• Hang/exhaust fans, louvers, units and other mechanical equipment
• Hang copper, PVC and piping hangers for refrigerant and CHW piping
• Insulate ductwork
• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats and devices
• Copper brazing and equipment startup
• Daily communication of work completed using company tablet

What you will be doing

1. Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
2. Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
3. Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
4. Layout of duct work for install and coordination with other trades
5. Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
6. Measuring & drawing up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
7. Hanging/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
8. Hanging of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
9. Insulation of ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
10. Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
11. Copper brazing and equipment startup
12. Daily communication of work completed through company tablet

What you need for this position

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• Must have EPA certification
• Refrigeration knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
