Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Inverter/variable-speed heat pumps diagnosis and fault codes experience.
• Experience with gas furnaces (wall and floor).
• Solid electrical troubleshooting skills (controls, boards, motors, capacitors).
• EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred).
• Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working in occupied homes with a range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain inverter heat pump systems (ducted/ductless).
• Perform warranty service on heat pumps and water heaters with documentation.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot heat pump water heaters.
• Repair gas furnaces and related equipment; diagnose heat pump components.
• Perform combustion safety testing and identify hazards.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance and tune-ups; verify performance with digital tools.
• Document work clearly with photos, notes, and readings; explain findings to homeowners.
