Job summary

Legacy Service Partners is seeking an HVAC technician in Murrieta, CA. You will diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems under warranties, inspect new installations, and identify root causes of concerns, documenting findings and repairs on a tablet.

You will maintain safety and quality, deliver five-star customer service, and coordinate with manufacturers for warranty parts, with full-time, year-round employment and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of residential HVAC service or diagnostic experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, electrical troubleshooting, airflow, refrigeration, and installation practices.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• NATE certification or additional HVAC training is a plus.
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to accurately document work using a tablet or mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems covered under workmanship or manufacturer warranties

• Correct installation deficiencies and complete necessary repairs
• Test completed work to confirm the system is operating safely and properly
• Clearly explain findings, repairs, and next steps to homeowners
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, photos, and job notes in Service Titan
• Communicate recurring installation issues to management to help improve quality and reduce callbacks
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers when warranty parts are needed
• Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and all applicable safety requirements
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and assigned inventory
• Deliver respectful, five-star customer service on every appointment
