Job summary

Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric in Mesquite, TX is seeking an HVAC Purchasing Agent to support our warranty service team by managing the ordering and procurement of parts for repairs and replacements.

You will verify part numbers, coordinate with technicians, vendors, and manufacturers, track shipments, process warranty requests, and maintain organized records to ensure timely service and excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of HVAC parts, components and terminology.
• Experience with HVAC parts ordering, procurement, warranty processing, or service operations preferred.
• Ability to identify parts using model numbers, serial numbers, catalogs, and manufacturer resources.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate order entry.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and order HVAC parts for warranty repairs and replacements.
• Verify model numbers, serial numbers, part numbers, and warranty eligibility.
• Coordinate with technicians, manufacturers, distributors, and vendors to obtain parts.
• Track orders and monitor shipping and delivery dates.
• Process warranty-related parts requests, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and warranty documentation.
• Communicate order updates to technicians and team members.
• Research part availability and identify suitable replacements.
• Maintain organized tracking for outstanding orders and warranty parts.
• Follow company policies while providing timely, professional support to HVAC department.
