Baker Distributing Company in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and coordinate daily transfer of HVAC freight and materials in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

You'll perform shipping and receiving tasks, pick and verify orders, operate forklift equipment, maintain forklift and warehouse safety, conduct quality inspections, and support regular inventory counts to keep stock accurate and ready for customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; accommodations available as needed.
• Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and teamwork.
• Mechanical or technical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Move merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards set by the company.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify products received, picked, and shipped are accurate.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Assist management with inventory counts and daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
