Job summary

Johnstone Supply in New York, NY is seeking a dependable Material Handler/Driver to join our warehouse team. You will receive, pick, pack, and ship products, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure accurate loading for on-time deliveries.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and the ability to follow safety rules. You’ll work Monday through Friday, with potential overtime, and enjoy competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year of truck driving experience.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow DOT and company rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment safely to move products to storage locations.
• Receive shipments by forklift or hand, verify against orders.
• Load, pack, and prepare orders for delivery; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
