Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC, a leading HVACR equipment distributor, is seeking a Material Handler/Driver in New Jersey to receive, pack, and ship products safely and efficiently. You will operate power equipment, load/unload orders, and help ensure accurate delivery records while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience driving 26 ft or larger.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Must have valid driver's license and meet FMCSA standards.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• English proficiency required due to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to receive, store, and move products.
• Pull, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Drive company vehicles for deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts.
