Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Material Handler/Driver to receive, pick, pack, and ship products and to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. You will drive company vehicles, ensure accurate deliveries, and contribute to inventory accuracy while maintaining DOT and safety standards.

The role requires forklift experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to perform a variety of warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or equivalent forklift/vehicle experience.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) to locate, move, and stock products daily.
• Receive products by unloading trucks and verify shipments against packing lists.
• Prepare orders by packing into cartons and loading into trucks; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Drive company vehicles following DOT/state/federal regulations; maintain vehicle condition and logs.
• Support inventory and warehouse duties; communicate with supervisors and customers.
