EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Bakersfield to ensure a clean, organized warehouse and process service and operations requests. You will verify materials, store inventory, and support shipping, receiving, and deliveries to job sites.

The role requires forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver's license and a flexible schedule are also expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years warehouse experience.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Trades experience (Electrical, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
• Route materials to storage locations and manage inventory.
• Operate hand or power trucks for warehousing tasks.
• Order materials and seek best pricing to reduce shipping costs.
• Maintain inventory levels and prepare purchase orders.
• Perform receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials.
• Address and dispose of warranty returns properly.
• Be an active member of the Warehouse Safety Team.
• Deliver tooling and materials to job sites.
• Keep shop, warehouse, and yard clean and organized.
• Maintain hazardous waste storage areas and records.
