Job summary

Airxcel Inc.'s RV Products division in Wichita, KS invites a Ventilation Design Engineer to lead new product development, maintain existing lines, and push VAVE improvements. You’ll collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams to enhance ease of assembly, reduce cost, and improve performance.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in plastics engineering (or related), 1–3 years of experience, proficiency with SolidWorks, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in plastics engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines may be considered.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SolidWorks CAD software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new products and improve existing ones.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve assembly, cost, and quality.
• Work with suppliers domestic and foreign to support product line expansion.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing concepts across projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (UL, CSA, CE).
