Job summary

United CoolAir, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the development of new HVAC equipment and the continuous improvement of existing product lines. You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production Control, and Manufacturing to ensure designs are accurately developed, documented, and communicated throughout production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
• Experience using DraftSight or similar CAD software.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D SolidWorks models.
• Develop and update 2D drawings and DXF files.
• Prepare piping diagrams using DraftSight.
• Maintain BOMs with Excel and Macola.
• Support fabrication, welding, and assembly with drawings and guidance.
• Assist Sales with technical information for customers.
• Manage emails/Teams communications and document control.
• Support ECO processes and communicate changes across departments.
