Job summary

Trane Technologies in Charleston, SC is seeking a Turnkey Installation Lead Technician to work hands-on with turnkey commercial HVAC systems. You will coordinate with the Construction Project Manager to install and commission projects to exacting standards and maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires direct HVAC installation experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train and support customers on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–5 years of Commercial HVAC Installation experience.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start up HVAC systems per drawings and specs.
• Plan and complete projects on time, coordinating with the Construction Project Manager.
• Interpret construction drawings and install equipment and systems.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across tasks and projects.
• Provide training and support to customers at site and gather feedback.
