Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a Test Technician in Missouri to support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC&R equipment, including heat exchangers, chillers, and pumps. You will follow test procedures, gather data, and communicate results to engineers.

The role involves wiring/prototyping control panels, evaluating lab equipment, and supporting continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC&R systems knowledge with ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Experience operating and testing HVAC&R equipment including heat exchangers and chillers.
• Proficiency with MS Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Test mechanical equipment and HVAC&R systems under engineer supervision.
• Read and follow test procedures; maintain test logs.
• Set up connections for tests (power/water/instruments).
• Assemble data and report results to engineers.
• Assist in development and sizing of new HVAC&R equipment.
